The
Prices...
Bryan and
I both believe that when you get married, you're actually marrying the whole
family! The day we got married, we were surrounded by our families. (Here's a
picture of the Prices taken at our wedding.) Bryan's
parents have been married for more than 40 years just like mine. And like me, Bryan
has two older siblings - sisters named Kathryn and Judith. Both are married and have
kids - three girls and two boys in all. We're really
fortunate to have families that mesh well!!!!!
Earl-the-Dad
is a retired aerospace engineer with a bachelors degree in engineering
from Tennessee Tech and a masters degree in engineering
from the University of Virginia. Tommye-the-Mom is a
retired high school English teacher who has a bachelors degree from William
& Mary. Earl and Tommye are very actively involved in their church
where Earl is an elder. They live on Tim's Ford Lake in Tennessee and enjoy being out in the
country and growing things like flowers, vegetables and berries. They used to
keep bees and make their own honey!
Bryan's oldest sister,
Kathryn,
is married to Scott Holder. She is a physical therapist and a mom to three children: Drew (17), Emily (14), and Will
(7). Scott is a
physician in family practice. The Holders live in Tennessee on the same
lake as Tommye & Earl and stay very busy with church and school and
all the kids' activities.
Bryan's
sister Judith is married to David Ruch. Judith is a speech pathologist
and a mom to two children: Olivia (10) and Anna Marie
(7). David
is an executive with a manufacturing firm. The Ruch's live in northern Illinois where they are learning to
shovel snow and call Cokes "pop"!
OUR
NIECES AND NEPHEWS
We're blessed to have nieces and nephews that are amazingly sweet kids that
we really enjoy being around!
