Leah

January 2005

Back to Leah's home page!

Lots of exciting things are happening in January!

Leah celebrated her two month birthday with an afternoon trip to the beach with Mommy and Daddy.

She enjoys playing in her jungle gym and her bouncey seat and she really gets a kick out of her turtle rattle/mirror.

Leah is now going to sleep around 10:00 at night. Sometimes she is happy to fall asleep on her own! She sleeps 5-7 hours, wakes to eat, then sleeps 2-3 more hours. Progress!

Leah took her first road trips - a weekend in Auburn, Alabama with the Ledbetters - and a weekend in Winchester, Tennessee with the Prices.

Her weight is up to 14 pounds 6 ounces (6.53 kg) and she is now 24.25 inches long (61.6 cm).

She still hates taking a bath!

Her eyes look dark in this photo but they are still very blue at this point.

Love! Love! Love!
Here is Leah with Grandmama and Granddaddy Ledbetter in Auburn. (Marion and Bill)

War Eagle!
Leah was among the thousands who attended the parade and street party in downtown Auburn to celebrate AU's 13-0 season!

Kitty!
Leah is finally as big as her "older brothers" Louie and Dizzy. (By the way, we do not leave her unsupervised with the cats just to be safe.)

Tee hee hee!
Leah has begun to grin and coo more and more! It's so great! She wakes up in such a happy mood every morning.

Beach baby...
Leah loves going to the beach! We got her a really good pair of sunglasses to protect her eyes from the glare. They are called
Baby Banz and they are made in Australia if you need some for your baby. We got them off Yahoo! Shopping.

Hanging out with Mommy!

"I hope I get into a really good kindergarten, because Daddy says I need to go to Duke, Stanford or... Auburn!"

Uh oh! Did someone say bath time???

Cousins!
Leah had lots of fun playing with her cousins, Emily and Will, while she was in Tennessee.

An artiste in the makings?
Leah is finding her hands! She looked at this little box of crayons, reached for them and shook them!
